Will Smith's Panoramas - Malaysia - Mount Kinabalu

In July 2004 we climbed Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in South-East Asia.  It's located in the state of Sabah, on the island of Borneo.

The ascent The first day we climbed from 7am to around 1pm, loaded with warm clothes for the top.  We were overtaken by porters including the one pictured carrying a large gas canister.  We rested and slept overnight in the 'Laban Rata' resthouse. jpg 700kb
